Which hands delay the c-bet, and which keep checking
- A delayed c-bet is a turn bet by the preflop raiser after the flop checks through. The big blind's second check can mean a range with fewer strong hands.
- Top pair bets 68% of the time, and ace-jack offsuit 93%.
- Draws bet as bluffs that can still improve: open-ended straight draws 71% of the time and combo draws 87%.
- Middle pairs keep checking, since they can win at showdown without a bet: second pair checks 95% of the time and third pair 98%.

Where the numbers come from
The numbers come from a commercial solver's precomputed solution for a 6-max cash game at 100 big blinds, with a 5% rake capped at 15 bb and 2.5 bb opens. It allows one bet size at each decision. Here the button's turn bet is the size of the pot. It checked the flop back 65% of the time; its only flop c-bet in this solution was an overbet, which shapes the range that checked back. Two players see the flop. Pots with three or more players aren't covered, and neither are bet sizes outside this solution. Poker Skill read the numbers and wrote the explanation.
