What made it hard
Dumbledore called the $4,000 after 24 seconds. From his seat, the pair of eights was below the jack and the king on the board, and Harut had re-raised before the flop and bet the flop and the turn. The price pulled the other way: $4,000 to win $18,250. Harut had only $7,450 left, so a call faced at most that much more on the river. Harut had J♦ J♣, a set of jacks since the flop. No river could put Dumbledore ahead. The one eight left would give him three eights and Harut a full house. Any of the three nines left would give him two pair, still below three jacks. The river was the Q♣. Harut moved all-in for $7,450 and Dumbledore folded at once. The $7,450 came back to Harut, who won the $22,250 pot, $11,450 more than he put in. Dumbledore lost $10,800.
Chance to win, street by street
Each street's chances are worked out on that street's cards, among the players who called, bet or raised at some point in the hand or were still in at the end. Each of them counts up to and including the street where they fold. A player who folded without calling, betting or raising isn't counted, even after posting a blind, and a street where a counted player's cards were never shown has no row.
